Dosage/Direction for Use
Pharyngitis/tonsillitis 250 mg 12 hrly for 10 days. Acute maxillary sinusitis 500 mg 12 hrly for 14 days. Lower resp tract infections 250-500 mg 12 hrly for 7-14 days. Uncomplicated skin & skin structure 250 mg 12 hrly for 7-14 days.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Diarrhoea, nausea, abnormal taste, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, headache.
Drug Interactions
Theophylline, carbamazepine, digoxin, triazolam, anticoagulants.
