Betamethasone dihydrogen phosphate disodium
Indications/Uses
Acute & chronic allergy w/ inflammation.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Initially 1-2 drops/hr during the day & every 2 hr at night. Reduce to 1 drop 4 hrly & then to 1 drop 3-4 times daily.
Contraindications
Bacterial, viral or fungal infections of the eye, ocular TB, acute purulent eye infections, glaucoma. Do not use w/ contact lenses.
Special Precautions
Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Rise in IOP, hypersensitivity reactions, blurred vision, posterior subcapsular cataracts formation.
