Azelaic acid
Indications/Uses
Mild to moderate acne vulgaris.
Dosage/Direction for Use
After cleansing the skin w/ cream/lotion, apply gel/cream to the affected area twice daily (morning & evening). Reduce application to once daily if irritation occurs. Duration of treatment: 6 mth.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Avoid contact w/ the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Avoid use during pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Local skin irritation, pruritus, burning, erythema, rash, irritation, dermatitis.
