Per drag Paracetamol 500 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 15 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 1 mg, phenylpropanolamine HCl 12.5 mg. Per 5 mL syr Paracetamol 250 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 1 mg, phenylpropanolamine HCl 6.25 mg
Indications/Uses
Relief of fever & symptoms of cough & cold.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Drag Adult 1 drag. Syr Adult 2 tsp. Childn 6-12 yr 1 tsp. To be taken 3-4 times daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hyperthyroidism, HTN, coronary disease; MAOI; nephropathy.
Special Precautions
Cardiac disease, diabetes; glaucoma; impaired kidney or liver function. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy. Childn <6 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth; epileptiform seizures (large doses); skin rashes.
Drug Interactions
Antihistamines may potentiate other CNS depressants. Actions prolonged by MAOI. Prolonged use of paracetamol may potentiate oral anticoagulant.
