Latanoprostene bunod
Indications/Uses
Reduction of IOP in patients w/ open-angle glaucoma or ocular HTN.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 drop in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening. Do not administer more than once daily.
Special Precautions
May cause changes to pigmented tissues (eg, increased pigmentation of the iris & periorbital tissue). May gradually change eyelashes & vellus hair in the treated eye (including increased length, thickness & the number of lashes or hairs). Caution in patients w/ history of intraocular inflammation (iritis/uveitis) & should generally not be used in patients w/ active intraocular inflammation. Reports of macular edema, including cystoid macular edema; caution in aphakic patients, in pseudophakic patients w/ a torn posterior lens capsule, or in patients w/ known risk factors for macular edema. Remove contact lenses prior to administration. Pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended in ped patients ≤16 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Conjunctival hyperemia, eye irritation, eye pain, instillation site pain.
