Monitor serum Na levels. Monitor cases of impaired cardiac conduction. Severe renal & liver dysfunction. Abrupt discontinuation of treatment. Cross-allergy to carbamazepine. Caution in driving or using machinery. Susp Fructose intolerance. Administer vit K1 in neonates as a preventive measure in the few wk of pregnancy & newborn. May affect the ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation.
