Per g Isoconazole nitrate 10 mg, diflucortolone valerate 1 mg
Indications/Uses
Initial or interim treatment of superficial fungal skin infections which are accompanied by highly inflammatory or eczematous skin conditions eg, in the hand region, interdigital spaces of the feet, & inguinal & genital regions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients w/ skin lesions associated w/ a TB or syphilis infection in the area to be treated; viral infection eg, herpes, shingles or chicken-pox (varicella, herpes zoster); rosacea in the area to be treated; perioral dermatitis; skin reaction following vaccination in the area to be treated.
Special Precautions
Additional therapy in patients w/ bacterial skin infection. Do not allow to come into contact w/ eyes when applying to the face. Caution in patients w/ history of glaucoma. Risk of developing glaucoma. Increased risk of side effects during extensive application to large areas of the body or for prolonged periods of time, in particular under occlusion. Regular hygienic measures are essential for successful treatment. Contains cetostearyl alcohol. Pregnancy & lactation. Do not apply to the breasts when breast-feeding. Childn <2 yr. Diflucortolone valerate: Do not apply glucocorticoids during the 1st 3 mth of pregnancy to avoid any risk to the development of the unborn baby.
Adverse Reactions
Skin irritation or burning feeling at application site.
