Ibuprofen
Indications/Uses
Treatment of RA, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthrosis & other non-rheumatoid arthropathies. Also indicated in frozen shoulder, bursitis, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, low-back pain & in soft-tissue injuries eg, sprains & strains. Analgesic in dysmenorrhoea & during dental & post-op pain.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 600-1,200 mg daily in divided doses. In severe cases, may be increased to 1,600 mg daily in divided doses. Dental or post-op pain Initially 800 mg. Max: 2,400 mg. Childn 20 mg/kg daily.

Overdosage

Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Severe or active peptic ulceration. Pregnancy.
