Leukemias, malignant lymphomas, metastasizing & non-metastasizing malignant solid tumors, progressive autoimmune diseases, immunosuppressive treatment in organ transplantations.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab
1-4 tab daily in the morning.
Inj
Continuous treatment
3-6 mg/kg daily.
Intermittent treatment
10-15 mg/kg at intervals of 2-5 days.
High-dose intermittent treatment
20-40 mg/kg at intervals of 21-28 days.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Severely impaired bone marrow function (especially patients pre-treated w/ cytotoxic agents &/or radiotherapy). Inflammation of the bladder. Urinary outflow obstructions, active infections. Pregnancy & lactation.

Special Precautions
Obstruction of the efferent urinary tract, cystitis, infections & electrolyte imbalance. Elderly & debilitated patients, previous radiotherapy, DM, chronic hepatic or renal impairment. Pre-existing heart disease. Weakened immune system. Monitor blood count. Ensure adequate fluid intake. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery.

Adverse Reactions
Blood & bone marrow disorders, GI disturbances, kidney & efferent urinary tract changes. Cystitis. Azoospermia or persistent oligospermia, ovulation disorders, amenorrhea. Disturbance of hepatic function. Veno-occlusive disease. Chronic interstitial pulmonary fibrosis, cardiomyopathy. Secondary tumors. Alopecia, pigment changes in palms, finger nails & soles.
