Indications/Uses
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult Initially apply bd to the affected area, can be reduced to once daily when appropriate. Max dose: 100 g wkly.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients w/ known disorders of Ca metabolism.
Special Precautions
Hypercalcaemia may occur if max wkly dose is exceeded. Do not apply to the face. Wash hands after each application to avoid accidental transfer to face & eyes. Use w/ caution in skin folds as this may increase the risk of developing skin irritation. Limit or avoid excessive exposure to either natural or artificial sunlight. Avoid in guttate, erythrodermic, exfoliative & pustular psoriasis. Contains propylene glycol. Avoid in patients w/ severe liver & kidney disease. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Psoriasis aggravated, dermatitis, erythema, skin exfoliation/burning sensation/irritation, pruritus; application site pain.
