Oral
Uncomplicated gonorrhoea Adult: 300 mg as a single dose.

Chống chỉ định
Hypersensitivity; severe renal impairment; pregnancy, lactation; convulsive conditions; patients <18 yr.

Thận trọng
G6PD deficiency; impaired renal or hepatic function; exposure to strong sunlight; porphyria. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery.
|
|
Tác dụng không mong muốn
Hypersensitivity reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, neurological effects, toxic psychoses or convulsions, skin reactions, tendon damage, hepatic effects.
Potentially Fatal: Auto-immune haemolytic anaemia (elderly). |

Tương tác
Reduced absorption when taken with sucralfate and preparations containing divalent and trivalent cations. Excretion is reduced by probenecid. Risk of increased nephrotoxicity when used with ciclosporin. May increase effect of oral anticoagulants. Increased risk of convulsion when used with NSAIDs.
