Special Precautions
May cause sedation. Angle-closure glaucoma, urinary retention, epilepsy, prostatic hyperplasia or pyloroduodenal obstruction. May mask warning signs of damage caused by ototoxic drugs such as aminoglycosides.

Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, CNS depression, headache, psychomotor impairment, dry mouth, thickened respiratory-tract secretions, blurred vision, urinary difficulty or retention, constipation and increased gastric reflux.

Drug Interactions
Additive antimuscarinic action when used with atropine and some antidepressants such as MAOIs and TCAs.
