Per 5 mL
Dexchlorpheniramine maleate 1 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 5 mg, pseudoephedrine HCl 15 mg
Indications/Uses
Nasal congestion, postnasal drip, sinusitis & rhinitis. Relief of cough.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Childn 6-11 yr
5 or 10 mL tds,
2-5 yr
5 mL tds.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Patients w/ severe HTN, severe coronary artery disease, receving MAOI therapy. Not for the treatment of lower resp tract symptoms. Asthmatic patients.
Special Precautions
HTN, hyperthyroidism, DM, CV disease, narrow angle glaucoma, stenosing peptic ulcer, pyloroduodenal obstruction, symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy, bladder neck obstruction. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Childn <2 yr. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Urticaria, drug rash, anaphylactic shock, photosensitivity, excessive perspiration, chills, dryness of mouth, nose & throat. Mild sedation. Dizziness, nausea, vomiting.

Alcohol, MAOIs, other CNS depressants (hypnotics, sedatives, tranquilizers). Methyldopa, mecamylamine, reserpine & veratium alkaloids.
