Description:
Mechanism of Action: Etamivan has actions similar to dozapram. It was formerly used as a resp stimulant, but the risk of toxicity associated with effective doses is now considered to be unacceptable. It is available in oral preparations for use in cerebrovascular and circulatory disorders and hypotension, but it is no longer recommended.
