Indications/Uses
Control of cough & nasal congestion due to common colds, sinusitis & other resp infections & allergy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult
1-2 tsp tid.
Childn
½-1 tsp tid.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hyperthyroidism, HTN, coronary disease; MAOIs.
Special Precautions
Cardiac disease, diabetes. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Excitability, exhaustion; anginal attack. Drowsiness, dulling of mental alertness.
