Indications/Uses
Symptoms of depressive illness especially where sedation is not required. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Bulimia nervosa.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Depression
Adult & elderly
Initially 20 mg daily, dose may be increased to max 80 mg in younger patient & 60 mg in elderly patient.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Hepatic or renal impairment, epilepsy, diabetes, underwt patients. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, nervousness, agitation, insomnia.
