Relief of pain & inflammation in various conditions: Musculoskeletal & joint disorders eg RA, OA & ankylosing spondylitis, periarticular disorders & other painful conditions following some surgical procedures.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 100-150 mg daily. Childn >14 yr 75-100 mg daily. Daily dose should be divided into 2-3 doses. Dysmenorrhea Initially 50-100 mg. Max: 200 mg/day. Migraine Initially 50 mg, further dose of 50 mg 4-6 hrly, if necessary. Max: 200 mg/24 hr.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Patients w/ symptoms/history of GI disease, impaired hepatic, cardiac or renal function, porphyria. Periodic liver function & blood counts monitoring. Contains Na disulfite. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
GI disorders eg nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, dyspepsia, flatulence, anorexia; headache, dizziness or vertigo, rash, elevation of SGOT/SGPT.
