Indications/Uses
Chronic suppurative otitis media, otitis externa, chronic otorrhea, infections of fenestration & mastoid operation cavities & other ear infections caused by gm +ve & gm -ve organisms including Staph aureus, E. coli, H. influenzae, Aerobacter aerogenes, Klebsiella pneumoniae & Proteus spp.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 2 drops into the external auditory canal. If necessary, a wick can be soaked w/ 4-6 drops & packaged loosely into the infected cavities & renewed every 12-24 hr.
Special Precautions
Perforated tympanic membrane. Overgrowth of nonsusceptible organism. Avoid prolonged or frequent intermittent use.
