Calcidin Nutritional supplement which helps in maintaining strong & healthy bones. Prevention of Ca deficiency & reduction of risks of osteoporosis. Calcidin Plus Prevention & treatment of osteoporosis.
Calcidin Plus Hypersensitivity. Abnormally high level of Ca in the blood (hypercalcemia) &/or hypercalciuria eg, overactive parathyroid glands, bone marrow disease (myeloma), malignant bone tumor (bone metastasis). Patients suffering from kidney failure, kidney stones or those w/ Ca deposits in the kidneys; hypervitaminosis D.
Calcidin Plus Abdominal distention, abdominal pain, diarrhea, eructation/burping, flatulence, high level of Ca in blood (hypercalcemia), excessive loss of Ca in urine (hypercalciuria) & kidney stone formation (nephrolithiasis).
Calcidin Plus Ca: Other supplements or medicines containing Ca. Phenytoin or tetracyclines (eg, doxycycline, minocycline), fluoroquinolones, & levothyroxine. Do not take w/ high-fiber meal (eg, bran, whole grain, cereal or bread, fresh fruits). Do not smoke cigarettes or cigars & do not drink large amounts of alcohol or caffeine (>8 cups of coffee).
