Indications and Dosage
Nasal
Nasal congestion
Adult: As nasal drop or spray: 0.12% solution of tramazoline hydrochloride instilled into each nostril 3-4 times daily.
Special Precautions
Do not use for >7 consecutive days.
Adverse Reactions
Rebound congestion after frequent or prolonged use. Nausea, headache, dizziness.
Drug Interactions
Potentially Fatal: Increased risk of hypertensive crisis with MAOI.
Action
Description: Tramazoline is a sympathomimetic with actions similar to naphazoline.
