Indications and Dosage
Ophthalmic
Conjunctival infection
Adult: Instill 2 drops of 0.1% soln in the internal corner of the treated eye 4-6 times a day.
Special Precautions
Do not wear contact lenses. When concomitantly used with other eye drops, 15-min interval is required.
Adverse Reactions
Transient ocular irritation and allergic reactions.
Action
Description: Hexamidine has antibacterial and antifungal properties and is used for local treatment of minor infections.
