Indications/Uses
Symptomatic treatment of OA. Management of pain & improvement in physical function of joints.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Depending upon joint size, up to 6 mL IA. Recommended schedule: 1 inj wkly for 3 wk or up to 6 inj may be given depending on patient's condition.
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity. Not to be inj intravascularly. Not to be used for joint inflammation/irritation. Transient short duration pain. Avoid strenuous activity throughout treatment. Avoid use w/ sterilising or sanitising agent containing quaternary ammon salts soln. Not recommended during pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended in childn.
Adverse Reactions
Mild local reaction eg, pain, feeling of heat, hyperthermia, redness, effusion, irritation, swelling/inflammation; fever, chills, CV reactions.
