Per 5 mL Diphenhydramine HCl 14 mg, ammon Cl 135 mg, Na citrate 57.5 mg

Indications/Uses

Control of cough & alleviation of nasal stuffiness, bronchial congestion & lachrymation.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn >12 yr 5-10 mL 4-6 hrly, max: 60 mL daily. Childn 6-12 yr 2.5-5 mL 4-6 hrly, max: 30 mL daily; 2-5 yr 2.5 mL 4-6 hrly, max: 20 mL daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Porphyria, epilepsy, prostatic hypertrophy, urinary retention, glaucoma. Concomitant use w/ MAOIs. Hepatic disease.

Special Precautions

May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Renal or hepatic disease. Pregnancy. Childn <2 yr.

Adverse Reactions

Sedation, dizziness, tinnitus, lassitude, incoordination, fatigue, blurred vision, diplopia, euphoria, nervousness, insomnia & tremors.
