Panadol tab Adult including elderly & childn ≥12 yr 1-2 tab 4-6 hrly. Max: 8 tab/24 hr. Panadol OptizorbAdult including elderly & childn ≥12 yr 1-2 caplet every 4-6 hr. Max: 8 caplets/24 hr. Childn 9-11 yr 1 caplet, 6-8 yr ½ caplet. Not >4 doses in 24-hr period.
Discontinue use if severe skin reactions occur. Severe infection; underwt or malnourished; patients w/ alcohol dependence. May cause allergic reactions due to Na methyl-, ethyl- & propyl-parahydroxybenzoates. Not to be used w/ other paracetamol-containing drugs. Renal or hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended in childn <6 yr.
