HapacolAdult including elderly & childn ≥12 yr 1-2 tab every 4-6 hr. Childn 6-11 yr Not >4 doses in 24 hr. Max daily dose: 60 mg/kg in 10-50 mg/kg divided doses throughout 24-hr period. 6-8 yr ½ tab, 9-11 yr 1 tab. Hapacol Junior Recommended dose: Approx 60 mg/kg in 10-50 mg/kg divided doses throughout 24-hr period. Childn 6-12 yr 1-2 sachet every 4-6 hr. Max: 4 doses in 24 hr,<37 kg Max: 80 mg/kg daily, 38-50 kg Max: 3 g daily, >50 kg Max: 4 g daily.
Severe skin reactions eg, skin reddening, blisters or rash. Not to be given in patients w/ phenylketonuria. Low Na diet. Not to be used w/ other paracetamol-containing drugs. Alcohol dependence. Severe renal or hepatic impairment. Not recommended in childn <6 yr.
