Dissolve 1 sachet (2.16 g) to prepare isotonic soln or 2 sachets if hypertonic soln in 240 mL (level marked by line in bottle) boiled water of about 36.6°C temp & shake to dissolve. Place the bottle into nostril & breathe through mouth, then squeeze the bottle smoothly. Repeat rinsing in 2nd nose hole using the remaining soln. Use once-tds or 2-3 times wkly for prophylactic use, carried out at least 1 hr before sleeping.
Hypersensitivity. Not to be used in patients w/ completely blocked nasal septum or ear infection blockage; balance problems; serious nose bleeding; open, dry & unhealed nose wounds after surgery. Diseases manifested by narrowing of airways eg, asthma, bronchitis.
