Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or aspirin. Stomach or intestinal ulcer, bleeding or perforation. History of GI disorders. HTN, blood alterations. Moderate or severe heart failure. Hemorrhagic diathesis. Patients taking anticoagulants. Severe hepatic & renal disease. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <18 yr.
Stomach pain & bleeding. Risk of heart attack or stroke. History of HTN &/or heart failure. Cardiocirculatory failure, poor renal perfusion, active or previous blood alterations. Concomitant use w/ diuretics. Asthmatic. Periodic ophth monitoring are advised during prolonged treatment. Perform frequent blood testing. Intolerance to some sugars. Avoid alcohol consumption. May affect ability to drive & use machines. Hepatic or renal impairment. Elderly >70 yr.
