Indications/Uses
Temporary relief of pain caused by recurrent mouth ulcers, denture irritation.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & elderly Apply small amount to affected area, use up to qds.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Allergy to salicylate (eg, aspirin), lignocaine; active peptic ulcer; herpes infection & flu in childn; bronchial asthma. Childn <4 mth.
Special Precautions
Prolonged use. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Mucosal irritation & ulceration
Drug Interactions
Enhanced effect of anticoagulants & inhibited action of uricosurics by salicylates.
