Contents
Cetalkonium Cl 0.01% w/w, choline salicylate 8.71% w/w
Indications/Uses
Pain & inflammation relief. Mouth ulcers, cold sores, denture & sore spots.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult Massage approx 1 cm onto sore area, may be repeated after 3 hr. Denture sores Massage approx 1 cm onto sore area & leave at least 30 min before reinserting dentures. Childn & infant ≥4 mth Massage approx ½ cm onto sore area, may be repeated after 3 hr. Max: 6 doses in 24 hr.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salicylates. Active peptic ulceration.
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity to choline salicylates, cetalkonium Cl, ethanol or glycerin. Stomach or intestinal bleeding; blood clotting disorders. Concomitant use w/ blood clotting &/or gout treatment. Avoid use during pregnancy. Lactation. Not to be used in babies <4 mth.
Adverse Reactions
Asthma, bronchospasm; headache; stomach upset, diarrhea.
Drug Interactions
Enhanced effect of anticoagulants. Inhibited action of uricosurics.
