Hydroquinone 4%, tretinoin 0.05%, fluocinolone acetonide 0.01%
Indications/Uses
Short-term intermittent treatment of moderate to severe melasma of the face, in the presence of measures of sun avoidance including the use of sunscreens.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a thin film of cream to hyperpigmented areas of melasma including about ½ inch of normal appearing skin surrounding each lesion. Rub lightly & uniformly into the skin. Apply once daily at night 30 min before bedtime.
Special Precautions
Discontinue if hypersensitivity reaction or HPA axis suppression occur. Avoid exposure to sunlight, sunlamp or UV light. Use sunscreen & protective covering over treated areas. Keep away from the eyes, nose or angles of mouth. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Erythema, desquamation, burning, dryness & pruritus at the site of application.
Drug Interactions
Avoid medicated or abrasive soaps & cleansers, soaps & cosmetics w/ drying effects, high conc of alcohol & astringent, other irritants or keratolytic drugs.
