Tab/CapOA 100-150 mg/day. RA 150-200 mg/day. Ankylosing spondylitis 100-125 mg/day. To be taken in divided doses. Pain or menstrual crampsAdult 50 mg tds as needed. SuppChildn 0.5-2 mg/kg daily in 2-3 divided doses. InjAdult Usual dose: 50-75 mg IM once daily.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals. Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to aspirin or NSAIDs. GI ulcerations, bleeding & perforation. Liver laboratory tests. Anaphylactoid reactions. Preexisting asthma. Advanced renal disease. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Abdominal pain or cramps, headache, fluid retention, abdominal distention. GI disturbances, peptic ulcer, dizziness. Hypersensitivity reactions. Cardiac, kidney, liver or blood disorders.
