Ambroxol HCl

Indications/Uses

Secretolytic therapy in acute & chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated w/ abnormal mucus secretion & impaired mucus transport.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult 1 tab tds. 2 tab bd for enhanced efficacy.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Special Precautions

Very few reports of Stevens-Johnson syndrome & toxic epidermal necrolysis. Patients w/ rare hereditary galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Impaired renal function. Pregnancy (1st trimester) & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Anaphylactic reactions. GI disorders.
