Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients taking other prep which contains finasteride or any other 5α-reductase inhibitor for BPH or any other condition. Not indicated for women or childn & adolescents. Pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
Male patients who were planning to father a child; hepatic insufficiency; may increase the risk of high-grade prostate cancer. Not for the prevention of prostate cancer. Rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
