Hypoproteinaemia. Hypogammaglobulinaemia. Hypoalbuminaemia. Prophylaxis against infectious diseases in patients w/ Ab deficiency syndrome.
Dosage/Direction for Use
To be given by IV inj or infusion. At the beginning of the infusion, infuse at 1 mL/min. After infusion of 10 mL, rate may be increased to 3-4 mL/min. Adult Up to 2 L daily. Childn 15-20 mL/kg body wt/day.
Adverse Reactions
Rise in temp; backache, skin reactions or general intolerance phenomena, in rare cases leading to shock.
