Amlodipine besylate

Indications/Uses

1st-line treatment of HTN & angina pectoris. Treatment of severe (NYHA Class III-IV) CHF w/o underlying ischemic disease.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Max: 10 mg once daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to dihydropyridines.

Special Precautions

Impaired hepatic function. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.

Adverse Reactions

Oedema, headache, flushing, dizziness, fatigue, somnolence, nausea, abdominal pain, palpitation.
