Ganciclovir

Indications/Uses

Acute herpetic keratitis (dendritic ulcers).

Dosage/Direction for Use

Instill 1 drop in the affected eye 5 times daily (approx 3 hrly while awake) until the corneal ulcer heals, followed by 1 drop tds for 7 days.

Special Precautions

For topical ophth use only. Pregnancy & lactation.

Blurred vision, eye irritation, punctate keratitis & conjunctival hyperemia.
