Indications/Uses
Dry eye & ocular surface damage due to some conditions &/or disease eg, post-op eye surgeries (eg, cataract surgery, LASIK), prolonged use of preservative-containing eye drops (eg, antiglaucoma drugs); superficial keratitis, Sjogren syndrome or primary dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca). Temporary relief of dryness, burning & ocular fatigue induced by eg, dust, smoke, dry heat, air conditioning, extended computer screen use or contact lens wear.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1 or 2 drops into the conjunctival sac as often as needed. May be used while wearing contact lenses (rigid or soft).
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Discard after opening; or may be used w/in 12 hr after opening monodose if used as recommended & carefully recapped. Consult physician if discomfort persists or reappears after discontinuation. Patients who experience blurred vision after application should not drive or use machinery until vision has cleared. Pregnancy & lactation.
Drug Interactions
May modify effects of other drug or product applied to the eyes; administer at least 5 min apart. Avoid concomitant use w/ quaternary ammon compd.
