Cinnarizine 20 mg, domperidone maleate 15 mg
Indications/Uses
Nausea & vomiting w/ multiple etiology eg migraine & headache, motion sickness, blurred vision, labyrinthine disorders & drug-induced GI irritation.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. GI haemorrhage, obstruction or perforation. Patients w/ prolactinoma.
Special Precautions
Avoid alcohol & CNS depressants. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Sedation, inability to concentrate, lassitude, dizziness, incoordination. Blurred vision, difficulty in micturition, dysuria, dry mouth, tightness of chest, muscle weakness, headache, extrapyramidal symptoms, allergic reactions, abdominal cramps, galactorrhoea, gynaecomastia.
Drug Interactions
CNS depressants, alcohol, atropine, TCAs, MAOIs, opioid analgesics, antacids, cimetidine, Na bicarbonate, azole antifungals, macrolides, HIV-protease inhibitors, nefazodone.
