Paracetamol 325 mg, tramadol HCl 37.5 mg
Indications/Uses
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >16 yr 1-2 tab 4-6 hrly. Max: 8 tab daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Acute intoxication w/ alcohol, hypnotics, centrally-acting analgesics, opioids or psychotropic drugs.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ epilepsy, resp depression, anaphylactoid reactions; increased intracranial pressure/head trauma, opioid dependent patients, increased risk of liver toxicity, seizure & serotonin syndrome. Avoid abrupt withdrawal of therapy. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Renal & liver impairment. Co-administration w/ other tramadol or paracetamol-containing compd. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <16 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Drug Interactions
CNS depressants eg alcohol, opioids, anesth agents, phenothiazines, tranquilizers, or sedative hypnotics. Serotonin reuptake inhibitors.
