Indications and Dosage
Oral
Asthma prophylaxis
Adult: 80 mg as a single dose at bedtime.
Special Precautions
Patient w/ pre-existing hepatic impairment. Not intended for treatment of acute asthmatic attack.
Adverse Reactions
GI disturbances, headache, palpitations, drowsiness, hepatitis; hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. pruritus, rashes), elevation of liver enzyme values.
Monitoring Parameters
Monitor hepatic function.
Action
Description: Seratrodast is a thromboxane A2 antagonist which is responsible in reducing airway hyperresponsiveness.
