Reviz is especially designed to combat metabolic dysfunction and prevent related neurological disorders. Reviz combines finest quality herbal and vitamin components with excellent beneficial profile.
Action
Pharmacology: Resveratrol is a compound thought to reverse metabolic process and assist in reducing serum lipids. Resveratrol has a favorable cardiovascular profile. It may be noted that miniscule concentrations of resveratrol, only approximately 500 nM (billionth of a gram), are required to protect nerve cells. Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) is a documented herbal alternative medicine for the prevention of various cardiovascular diseases. Biotin functions as an essential cofactor for several enzymatic actions. Biotin is essential for carbohydrate metabolism and in the synthesis of fatty acids. It also helps incorporate amino acids into proteins. Studies confirm magnesium deficiency may lead to metabolic dysfunction. Current research reveals protective effects of α-lipoic acid in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion, excitotoxic amino acid brain injury, mitochondrial dysfunction, diabetes and diabetic neuropathy. Alpha-lipoic acid is also established as a universal antioxidant.
Pharmacokinetics: Reviz components are well absorbed and utilized, allowing consumption any time during the day, with or without meals. The metabolic process of glucuronidation in the liver actually appears to protect resveratrol from degeneration, extending its half-life and maintaining its action for up to 9 hrs. Magnesium absorption varies from 25% (high intake) to 68% (low intake) upon oral administration. Alpha-lipoic acid is easily absorbed and transported across cell membranes. Biotin absorption is complete and any excess, like vitamins, is excreted unchanged. Thus allowing twice a day administration for round the clock action.
