Indications/Uses
Prevention of acute nausea & vomiting associated w/ highly or moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy in adults.
Dosage/Direction for Use
IV Adult >18 yr 250 mcg as single dose inj over 30 sec 30 min prior to treatment.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Patients w/ or family history of QT prolongation, electrolyte abnormalities, CHF, bradyarrhythmias, conduction disturbances. Monitor patients w/ history of constipation or signs of subacute intestinal obstruction. Correct hypokalemia & hypomagnesemia prior to administration. Caution when driving or operating machines. End stage renal disease undergoing haemodialysis. Not to be used in pregnancy. Lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, dizziness; constipation, diarrhoea.
