Vitamin B complex.
Description
Each tablet contains vitamins B1 (thiamine mononitrate) 250 mg, B6 (pyridoxine HCl) 250 mg and B12 (cyanocobalamin) 1000 mcg.
Action
Pharmacology: Vitamin B1 is an important precursor of co-enzymes of certain enzymes which plays an important role in the carbohydrate metabolism in the body.
Vitamin B6 is the precursor for co-enzymes of the majority of enzymes which functions in protein metabolism. The function of the central nervous system highly depends on the rate of protein metabolism. Vitamin B6 deficiency may lead to neural-related complaints eg, sensory abnormalities and peripheral neuritis.
Vitamin B12 is an antipernicious factor in the blood-forming system. It also has a catalytic effect on the metabolism of amino acid, functions as a co-enzyme in the lipid metabolism as well as an important growth factor.
Indications/Uses
Dysfunction of Central Nervous System: Trigeminal neuralgia, intercostal neuralgia, ischialgia, polyneuritis, diabetic neuropathy, myelitis, herpes zoster, pregnancy-associated neuritis, optical neuritis, peripheral facial neuritis, cervical syndrome and lumbago.
Intoxication Due to Various Etiology: Vomiting during pregnancy, postoperative vomiting, iatrogenic cases eg, due to intake of INH, reserpine, phenothiazine, alcoholism.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adults: Mild Cases: 1 tab 1-2 times daily.
Severe Cases: 1 tab 2-3 times daily.

Store in a cool, dry place (15-30°C).
