Description
Each tablet contains calcium (as calcium carbonate) 600 mg, vitamin D3 200 IU, magnesium (as magnesium oxide) 40 mg, zinc (as zinc oxide) 7.5 mg, copper (as cupric gluconate) 1 mg, manganese (as manganese oxide) 1.8 mg, boron (as sodium tetraborate) 0.25 mg.

High potency calcium supplement with essential nutrients.
MaxCal contains the most concentrated form of calcium with vitamin D to help calcium absorption and other minerals to provide synergistic beneficial effect for bone health. Magnesium in MaxCal regulates calcium metabolism and is necessary for strong bones. Zinc, copper and manganese in MaxCal are essential for development and repair of skeleton. Boron in MaxCal helps utilization of calcium.
Indications/Uses
Prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, calcium deficiency arising due to growing age, pregnancy or other reasons.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tablet twice daily with meals or as directed by a physician.
Administration: Calcium should be taken with meal for the best absorption.
Overdosage
Acute single ingestions of calcium salts may produce mild gastrointestinal distress and hypercalcemia. Treatment is supportive.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of MaxCal; hypercalcemia; conditions causing hypercalcemia include sarcoidosis, hyperthyroidism, hypervitaminosis D and cancer.
Special Precautions
It is advised not to take other medications within 1 to 2 hrs of calcium supplementation.

Adverse Reactions
Use of calcium carbonate may cause gastrointestinal adverse reactions eg, constipation, bloating, gas and flatulence.
Drug Interactions
Oral calcium supplements may interfere with other medications, should separate dose from each other by 1-2 hrs. And consult a healthcare professional before use if taking a diuretics and verapamil.
Caution For Usage
Do not use MaxCal if there are any significant changes in appearance of the tablets.
Storage
Store below 25°C in dry place, away from direct sunlight.
