Indications and Dosage
Topical/Cutaneous
Tinea corporis, Tinea cruris, Tinea pedis
Adult: As 1% cream: Apply onto affected area and approx 1 inch of immediate surrounding areas once daily. Treatment duration: 2 weeks (tinea pedis); 1 week (tinea cruris and tinea corporis).
Child: Tinea corporis: ≥2 years Same as adult dose. Tinea pedis and tinea cruris:  ≥12 years Same as adult dose.
Special Precautions
Children. Pregnancy and lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Cellulitis, contact dermatitis, application site reactions.
Action
Description: Luliconazole is an imidazole antifungal. The exact mechanism of action against dermatophytes is unknown; however, it appears to inhibit the synthesis of ergosterol, a constituent of fungal cell membranes, by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol demethylase, resulting in reduced amounts of ergosterol and a corresponding accumulation of lanosterol.

Absorption: Absorbed in small amounts following topical application.
Distribution: Plasma protein binding: >99%.
