Symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis & chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn ≥12 yr 1 tab once daily. Childn 2 to <12 yr w/ body wt >30 kg 1 tab once daily. Hepatic impairment: Adult & childn weighing >30 kg Administer low initial dose of 1 tab every other day.

Overdosage

Special Precautions

Patients w/ severe liver impairment; not for patients w/ rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Discontinue at least 48 hr before skin tests as antihistamines may prevent or reduce otherwise positive reactions to dermal reactivity index. Very rarely, some patients may experience drowsiness; may affect their ability to drive or use machines. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <2 yr. Not for childn w/ body wt <30 kg.

Drug Interactions

Increased plasma conc w/ concomitant use of ketoconazole, erythromycin or cimetidine. Caution w/ drugs known to inhibit hepatic function metabolism.
