Per LenSen Extra tab Ibuprofen 200 mg, paracetamol 325 mg. Per LenSen Forte tab Ibuprofen 400 mg, paracetamol 325 mg
Indications/Uses
LenSen Extra Relief of mild to moderate pain of musculoskeletal origin eg, low back syndrome, bursitis, arthritis, rheumatism, myalgias, sprains, strains & traumatic injuries. LenSen Forte Relief of pain in soft tissue non-articular rheumatism; traumatic injuries due to accidents, sports injuries, sprains, strains, fractures & dislocations, contusions; infective inflammation due to tonsillitis, abscess, pleurisy (used along w/ appropriate chemotherapy); acute exacerbation of rheumatoid or other similar inflammatory arthropathies.
Dosage/Direction for Use
LenSen Extra 1-2 tab tds. LenSen Forte 1 tab 6-8 hrly. Max: 6 tab/day.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Patients w/ peptic ulcer, kidney or bone marrow impairment; asthma. Pregnancy.
Special Precautions
History of ophth, hepatic, renal, heart or bone marrow impairment.
Adverse Reactions
GI upset or gastritis. Hepatitis, nephropathy or bone marrow depression.
Drug Interactions
Increased hepatotoxic potential w/ barbiturates, carbamazepine, hydantoins, isoniazid, rifampin, sulfinpyrazone. Increased risk for toxicity w/ chronic ethanol abuse. May enhance effect of warfarin. Potential decreased analgesic effect w/ barbiturates, carbamazepine, hydantoins, rifampin, sulfinpyrazone. Decreased absorption w/ cholestyramine; 1-hr dosing interval may be necessary.
