Biphenyl-dimethyl-dicarboxylate.
Each tablet contains biphenyl-diphenyl dicarboxylate 25 mg. It also contains the following excipients: Lactose, cornstarch, hydroxypropylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, calcium, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropylmethicellulose 2910, diacetylated monoglycerides.
Treatment of chronic persisting and active hepatitis B, liver cirrhosis and drug-induced hepatitis associated with high serum glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) level.
Adults: 1 tablet 3 times daily. If SGPT is not reduced to normal after Knema administration for 1-2 months, the dose should be increased to 2 tablets 3 times daily. The course of treatment is at least 6 months and 1 year.
Administer with caution to patients with chronic active hepatitis or cirrhosis.
Keep the recommended administration and dosage.
Rash may occur occasionally. Temporary jaundice; and rarely, vomiting.
Store in air-tight and light-resistant container.
Shelf-Life: 36 months.
