Indications/Uses
Relief & prevention of bronchospasm in patients w/ reversible obstructive airway disease.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
CV disorders especially coronary insufficiency, cardiac arrhythmias & HTN, convulsive disorders, hyperthyroidism or DM & patients unusually responsive to sympathomimetic amines. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Nervousness & tremor. Headache, tachycardia & palpitations, muscle cramps, insomnia, nausea, weakness & dizziness.
Drug Interactions
Avoid w/ oral sympathomimetic agents. Potentiation w/ MAOIs or TCA. Inhibit effect of β-blockers.
