Indications/Uses

Vit B₁, B₆ & B₁₂ deficiency leading to mono- & polyneuropathy, peripheral neuropathy, dementia, beriberi. Alcoholic polyneuropathy & Wernicke's encephalopathy. Supportive treatment in trigeminal neuralgia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to vit B₁, B₆ & B₁₂ or cobalt.

Special Precautions

Allergies to other medicines or foods; any type of infection. Not to be used in Leber's disease. Wernicke's encephalopathy may suddenly occur or worsen in thiamine-deficient patients given glucose. Patients w/ Fe or folic acid deficiency; taking any medicine, herbal prep, dietary supplement; receiving any medication or treatment that affects bone marrow. Kidney or liver disease. Pregnancy & lactation.
